The Whole (Food) Picture: Understanding the vital role macros and micros play in our everyday lives

Let's chat about the three amigos of nutrition: fat, protein, and carbs. These are the guys who've taken turns getting a bad rap in the diet world over the decades - from "all fats are evil" to the classic "watch your carbs," and not to mention, all the the protein hype for muscle building.

The truth is that this trio, along with our trusty sidekicks, vitamins and minerals, are the real essentials our body needs to function at it’s best. As we dive into the new year, let's take a dive into how these nutrients play a key role in our health and bust some common myths surrounding them.
